Welcome to the submission process for rrevv gallery’s exhibit emergence.
The emergence show will be at rrevv, a new artist-owned gallery on Pacific Avenue located at 1349 Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA (next door to Paper Vision). The exhibition/sale will last from Friday, July 1st to July 29th, 2022.
The emergence show is an exciting exhibition and sales opportunity for all members to submit recently created or brand-new designs and is an excellent way to share your art with the Santa Cruz/Monterey community. The wearable art and sculpture exhibit + sale will cover July First Friday event in Santa Cruz.
Due to space constraints, only a limited number of artists will be accepted. The gallery owners will be the jurors and the accepted work will be the piece(s) entered for submission. The art pieces/sculpture will also be displayed on the online gallery on mbmag.org. Submission of your artwork to this exhibition implies acceptance of all the exhibition terms.
You must be logged in with your mbmag.org account to register for the exhibit + sale. Once you are logged in, come back to this page and refresh it to see the registration fields.
All information, photos, and payment are submitted on the form at the same time. Artwork must be complete and photographed before the submission process is begun.
- The emergence show will accept new and established guild members as applicants.
- All submissions must be original in design and demonstrate a professional level of craftsmanship.
- All work must be for sale.
- All work must be priced with the 40% gallery commission included.
- All submissions must be presented via photograph for the jury process.
- All submitted photos must adhere to the Exhibition Submission Requirements for Images.
- Your submission will be considered complete when photos have been submitted, all application fields are complete, and the $35 entry fee has been paid.
- All information, photos, and payment are submitted on the form at the same time.
- Accepted works must be delivered by the dates show in KEY DATES below.
Artists may submit up to FIVE pieces of work and two images (maximum) for each piece, one full size, and one detail. We encourage artists to submit high-quality images and update their websites and social media. If you have a website or social media , that’s great, but it’s not required. If you have an artist profile on mbmag.org, that is great, too, but also not required.
For drop-off, artists will provide an inventory of their work (using the online Labels and Records form) and will also supply a printed Artist Statement and Artist Biography for the Artist’s Book which is on display at the gallery. Any large sculptures must be delivered directly to the gallery by the artist.
All pieces submitted to this show must be for sale and priced with commission to the gallery in mind. (rrevv Gallery 40%, Artist 60%).
All entrants will receive additional information via email.
Submission of an entry implies agreement to the rrevv gallery consignment form which can be read or downloaded here.
Follow this link to the rrevv show forms where you will submit images and label information for the jury process.
We look forward to working with you,
Toni Danzig and Annette Nemes
