MBMAG.org visitor’s IP address and browser user agent strings are used to assist us with spam avoidance. We do not collect any data in any comments forms.

Media

If you upload any images to this website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from the EXIF location data embedded in your images.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, this website automatically sets up cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies ONLY LAST FOR TWO DAYS. Screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. Each time you log out of your account, the login cookies are removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Profile Data

For users that register on our website, our membership management provider, MembershipWorks, stores the personal information you provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can log into your own profile and see all the personal data you have shared. You may edit, chinge, or delete your own data. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. Note that asking us to erase your data will erase your account and does not include erasing any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

The Guild’s membership management software, MembershipWorks, has secure copies of your profile data. The Guild’s payment processors Stripe and PayPal have secure copies of your payment data IF you have paid for items on this website. The Guild’s email management provider, Mailchimp, has secure copies of your email address IF you have signed up to receive Mailchimp emails using the link in the footer of this website or via a link in a prior Mailchimp email.

MBMAG does NOT share any of your profile data for any marketing purposes.
