When inspiration strikes, some artists reach, not for canvas and paint, but for silver, copper and a torch. A new exhibit at the Pacific Grove Art Center celebrates the metal artists of the Central Coast and their expert craftsmanship and designs.

Forty artists of the Monterey Bay Metal Arts Guild have created one-of-a-kind art objects, sculpture, and fine jewelry on the theme, Sanctuary.  They were inspired by our beautiful area and how places of serenity enrich our lives and world.

The exhibit begins on October 29th and runs until December 16, 2010.
Admission is free
Gallery hours are  Wednesday through Saturday 12 to 5pm and Sunday 1 to 4pm.

Come enjoy their shimmering creations, and treat yourself to a delightful and unique art experience.

Pacific Grove Art Center is located at 568 Lighthouse Avenue in Pacific Grove, CA 93950.  Telephone for more information or directions: 831-375-2208 .
